The Porukarites are indeed blessed!

The students of Porukara group of institutions were fortunate to have His Excellency Mar. Dr. Antony Kariyil CMI as the chief guest on the occasion of the commemoration of the Founder Fathers of the CMI congregation,-St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Fr. Thomas Palakkal and Fr. Thomas Porukara.

A very warm welcome was offered to the new canonically elected Bishop of Mandya, His Excellency Mar Dr. Antony Kariyil CMI, who later inaugurated the day’s function. In his speech, he asserted that God was the centre of all knowledge even in the era of Science and technology. His excellency advised the youngsters to lead a blessed life by obeying the parents and teachers.

Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, the Principal of Porukara Central School welcomed everyone to the function.

Fr. Jose Konnatt CMI , the Manager presided over the function.Felicitations were done by Fr. Jose Vaniyapurackal, vicar of Kalloorkad forane church Dr.K C Joseph, Ex MLA and Fr. Saji Chiramukhathu CMI, the Principal of Porukara College of Advanced Studies.
